how to wash your bike in minutes

Wash your bicycle at a fast speed, and make your bicycle look brand new in minutes

A clean bike will not only make us feel better, but also have a better riding experience, and most importantly, it can reduce vehicle wear and tear, saving us money.

Today, let’s take a look at how foreigners use Zéfal’s cleaning kit to give a thorough cleaning of the bike.

Prepare tools:

a pot of water

a clean rag

Zéfal Brush Set

Step 1: Spray on our big green bottle of BIO

Feel free to spray the dirty spots on your bike. This is a safe degreaser that removes grease and grime from mechanical parts, containing active ingredients that quickly remove grime, easy rinsing and no contamination.

Then leave it along for three minutes

Step 2: Spray on our big blue bottle of BIKE WASH

Bike Wash is a special cleaning product that removes dirt and at the same time forms a protective film that leaves anti-static molecules against dust and gives your frame a shiny finish without the risk of rusting.

Step 3: Clean the frame with an ultra-soft cleaning brush

The top of the bristles has been carefully brushed and is relatively soft, so it is suitable for cleaning the frame, front fork, wheel set, etc., without scratching the frame. The outer ring of the brush is also covered with a layer of soft plastic, so even if it hits the frame when cleaning, you don’t have to worry about getting hurt.

Step 4: Use the Dual-Ended Brush

Double-ended brushes are mainly used for cleaning spokes, rear shocks, discs, chainrings, frame adapter points and pedals.

Step 5: Use a stiff freewheel brush

This brush is divided into a large brush and a small brush, and a scraper is attached to the end. The large brush can be used to clean the chain and freewheel, and the small brush is great for cleaning derailleurs and “tight spots”.

The scraper at the rear can provide precise cleaning of the flywheel (the matching 8-9-10-11 gears), and the scraper is also very convenient to store when not in use, and can be folded into the handle to integrate.

Step 6: Spray with clean water

Step 7: Wipe with a soft towel

After cleaning is complete, apply an appropriate amount of chain oil to the chain and you’re done. The more often you clean your bike, the better the performance of the parts and the lower the cost of repairing and replacing parts, so give your bike a quick shower.
